- Main Ingredients: Pork, Peas, Potato
- Serving 6 servings
baking tray, knife, cutting board, foil
Step 1: chop the potatoes.
Peel and chop the potatoes into large slices. Blot the chopped potatoes with paper towels.
Step 2: chop the pork.
Cut the pork into portions, they can be of any size convenient for you, but keep in mind that the larger they are, the longer they will bake.
Step 3: bake potatoes with pork.
Put potatoes on a baking tray and salt.
Lay the pieces of pork on top and salt the meat too.
Add seasoning, pepper and lay out the chopped onion slices.
At the head of garlic, cut the tails (do not need to be cleaned) and place it in the middle of the baking sheet.
Do not forget about paprika.
Pour water gently (about 1 cup) and seal with foil on top.
Bake at temperature 220 degrees during 45 minutes.
Step 4: add the peas.
Meanwhile, cook the green peas in salted water until soft. Throw in a colander after cooking and rinse with cold water from the tap to keep the peas bright color.
Return to the meat and potatoes, remove the foil and leave in the oven for another 15 minutes to form a beautiful golden crust.
Remove the pork and potatoes from the oven, add the peas on top. All is ready! Can be served.
Step 5: serve pork with potatoes and green peas.
Pork with potatoes and green peas is a great hot meal. Top it with beetroot salad with mayonnaise or canned vegetables.
Enjoy your meal!
- I’ll specially clarify that no oil is needed; fat from the pork fat is enough.
